7 Creative Strategies
Learning about the seven strategies...Combinations, Juxtaposition, Isolation, Metaphor or Simile, Change of context or environment, Physical shape similarity, and Material change, swap or focus gave me a better perspective into the designing world of graphic design. Going through examples from each category and exploring others work was really eye opening. Just being able to choose one everyday object and brainstorm the different ways I could create a new idea was a lot of work. I chose a toothbrush and with that tried to explore the realm of what a toothbrush is typically used for, what it resembles in appearance and how it helps a person in their everyday life. The ideas that I came up with for each strategy are below.
